Estonian Academy Publishers publishes eight peer-reviewed open access scholarly journals across a wide range of disciplines. Their scope encompasses the natural and earth sciences, archaeology, history, linguistics, philosophy, psychology and the social sciences, among other fields of research.

Our journals provide an international platform for high-quality research, combining strong links to the Estonian and wider Baltic and Nordic research communities with an international outlook. Each journal is guided by an international editorial board and follows established standards of scholarly publishing and peer review.

Our journals are indexed in major international scholarly databases, including Web of Science, Scopus, EBSCO and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), supporting the visibility and discoverability of the research we publish. Published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), providing persistent and reliable links to the scholarly record. Digital copies of all issues and individual articles are deposited in DIGAR, the digital archive of the National Library of Estonia, ensuring their long-term preservation and accessibility.

All eight journals are published open access, making their research freely available to readers worldwide. Three of our journals – Acta Historica Tallinnensia, Linguistica Uralica and Yearbook of the Estonian Mother Tongue Society (Emakeele Seltsi aastaraamat) – operate on a diamond open access model, with no submission or publication fees charged to authors.
