In September, the scientific journals Oil Shale and Proceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences were published.

The Estonian Academy Publishers is pleased to announce that Rainis Haller has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of Proceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences (PEAS), effective from 5 May 2026.

On 30 April 2025, Professor Jaak Järv’s tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Proceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences ended.

Hillar Aben, the long-time editor-in-chief of the Proceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences and the chairman of the Estonian Academy of Sciences Publishing Council passed away.

Proceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences has its reference templates available in many of the most popular reference management software products, such as Zotero, Mendeley, Papers etc.

Manuscripts from Russian and Belarusian institutions are temporarily suspended, except for Linguistica Uralica.
