Editorial Policy
The Linguistica Uralica is an international scientific journal published by the Estonian Academy of Sciences (Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia) in collaboration with the University of Tartu.
It is published quarterly (in March, June, September and December).
The Linguistica Uralica publishes peer-reviewed primary research papers in the English, German, and Russian languages, and all articles are provided with short English, German, Russian or French summaries. Papers dealing with any aspect of Uralic (Finno-Ugric and Samoyedic) linguistics are welcome on fully international basis.
All scientific papers to be published in the Linguistica Uralica are reviewed internationally.
Estonian Academy Publishers does not charge a submission nor publication fee to cover the publication costs of articles published in Linguistica Uralica.
Authors will be asked to cover the full cost for reproduction of colour artwork at a rate of 35 EUR for one printed page. Colour figures online will be published free of charge. Colour illustrations should be in RTF and CMYK mode (resolution at least 300 dpi).
The Linguistica Uralica is committed to Open Access publishing and belongs to the so-called Green Open Access group of journals. The journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License CC BY-NC to all articles (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). It means that all articles become freely accessible once published. This allows anyone to read, download, save, copy, print and distribute the paper in any medium or format, and remix, transform and build upon the paper for any purpose, including commercially, as long as the original authors and source are cited.
