For our publishing services
If you publish with us, your personal information is used in connection with the dissemination and promotion of your published work. Personal data shall be kept in the journal’s database for the purposes of publication and communication with the authors and reviewers as long as the articles are continuing to be publicly available. Your name, e-mail address, affiliation, and postal address of the affiliation will be published as part of authored work.
Personal information (e-mail address, author’s name and address or institution address) is also used to handle payments. Personal data retained for the purposes of sending invoices related to the Services is stored in accordance with the Accounting Act for seven years from the end of the financial year when an invoice was sent to the author. After seven years, all personal data related to the handling of payments will be deleted.
The journal may disclose collected personal data to the extent that is required by law or any related legal proceedings.
For journal alerts
The e-mail address collected when you sign up for journal alerts is used only to provide that service.
In providing the service we gather statistics about how many emails are opened, using industry standard technologies. This is to help us monitor and improve the journal alerts service and information is collected and analysed at an aggregate level only.
