The Estonian Journal of Archaeology has renewed its Editorial Board, bringing together nine scholars from research institutions in Estonia, Finland, Lithuania and Germany.

Six scholars have joined the Editorial Board: Kristin Ilves (University of Helsinki, Finland), Giedrė Keen Motuzaitė Matuzevičiūtė (Vilnius University, Lithuania), Heidi Luik (Tallinn University, Estonia), Ragnar Saage (University of Tartu, Estonia), Uwe Sperling (University of Rostock, Germany) and Mari Tõrv (University of Tartu, Estonia).

Three members continue to serve on the Board: Aivar Kriiska (University of Tartu, Estonia), Lembi Lõugas (Tallinn University, Estonia) and Erki Russow (Tallinn University, Estonia).

The Editorial Board supports the Editor-in-Chief in maintaining the journal’s academic quality and strengthening its international visibility. Its members contribute by helping to identify suitable reviewers, encouraging manuscript submissions and promoting the journal within their academic networks.

We warmly welcome the new members and thank the outgoing members for their valuable contributions to the journal. We look forward to working with the renewed Editorial Board to further develop the Estonian Journal of Archaeology as an international platform for archaeological research.
